The Amber Healing Centre was founded in 2007 by Beate and Fionn McMullan. The purpose of the centre is to promote health and wellbeing by providing a safe and nourishing environment for local practitioners of alternative and complementary therapies.

The Amber Healing Centre is located in the West of Ireland approx 20 kilometres (14 miles) South of Galway city on the Northern edge of the ‘Burren’ – a magical landscape of eroded limestone which is famous for its wealth of fauna and flora generally and a multitude of orchids and butterflies in particular. The healing properties of this European Heritage site radiate out beyond its physical boundary to where the centre is located. Directions:

The Amber Healing Centre can be found in Killeenaran, a rural settlement situated between the villages of Kilcolgan and Kinvara in County Galway. Coming from Galway city follow the signs for Limerick until you turn right in Kilcolgan following the signs for Kinvara. You come to a village called Ballinderreen where you turn right at O’Connor’s Pub. From here you follow the map below for 1 mile (make sure to keep right at the first main junction) until you see an orange sign for Amber Healing. Turn right into a small lane following the sign. Pass the first cottage on your left and turn in at the next building where you will see another orange sign for Amber Healing.
